FLYER

So whilst looking for some fresh Amok images to go with this post I did a trusty old Google search, and instead of finding some wall pieces all I could find was Edged Weapons Solutions, Necrospiritual Deathcore and a collection of George R.R Martin sketches…not really what I was after considering the Amok I’m on about, is the Amsterdam graffitti artist who has been residing in Perth for close to a year now. Cut & Paste has been in close contact with him over this time, following his work in and around town. After some friendly persuassion and specific filming rules, we’ll be hooking up with Amok in the coming months to film an exclusive wall piece, which will also involve Amok actually building a wall!

Before getting his handyman on, Amok launches a range of new works at Little Creatures this Thursday night. It’s been over a year since Amok had his first Australian solo exhibition at The Butcher Shop, Perth and word from the peeps at The Butcher Shop who have previewed a couple artworks from this new show are totally in love with the stuff!

If it’s anything like the piece I saw being givenaway at the SixThousand Bomb It! screening last Friday then we’re all in for a bit of treat!

So get yourself on an elephant gone mad, separate it from the herd and get ready to run wild in the devastation that is Fremantle!
