YOUR BAND HAS CRABS // CRUSTACEAN CUP

May 20th, 2010 by Matt

TrophyWhat happens when you let a bunch of extremely talented people loose on a field with a round ball? Well if the talented people are called Ronaldo, Rooney or Robinio you get a game of skill known as Football in some parts of the world and Soccer in others. ┬áIf however the people’s talents are for playing instruments and singing you get THE CRUSTACEAN CUP.

Foodchain have devised this Soccer match that will pit Chris Pieruci’s (Capital City) Crabs FC against the might of Tyranocorp Management’s Laith Tierney and his Mighty Tyranocrabs. The Crabs FC side features musicians from local favourites Eskimo Joe, Red Jezebel, Split Seconds, Sugar Army, Emperors, Russian Winters, Capital City and Boys Boys Boys. While the Mighty Tyranocrabs are made up of band members from Cal Peck & The Tramps, Bible Bashers, Mile End, Mongrel Country, Fear of Comedy, Chainsaw Hookers, Project Mayhem, Injured Ninja and more.

The elegant shambles will be be called by expert commentators Zack Adams and Peter Barr. This event is part of WAMi Festival 2010

  1. I have found that to keep my chainsaw running the right way I need to do a lot of maintenance. It is a good idea to always check the fluids, bar oil, and keep your chain sharp. This makes it easier to use and is safer as well. If anyone else has any tips I’d be happy to hear them.

Even though this comment is obviously spam, I’m leaving it up there, advice about chainsaws is something we can all benefit from….Cue Murderous Rampage…
